Default The strange changes to the skill window...

I would like to have the old skill window back. I think the changes were completely unnecessary, it looks worse, completely useless, and I have not seen anyone actually ask for it. Chalk up another waste of time update for Anet.

Instead focus your time and effort on things the community actually asks for...repeatedly...on a daily basis

It looks worse, is that a fact, or are you saying that because you want the old one back? I know I think it looks much better.

It's not bad, does more than I need though.

I do think the Numbers should be on the right side of the box instead of up against the left..slightly awkward IMO.

If ANet tweaked it, it would be fine.

Hmm...never said nobody likes it, though I can not see why anyone would. The reversed attribute numbers are strange looking, and I have found the different views for the skill lists to be worse than the default.

Instead of putting words in my mouth, lets discuss what you do or do not like about the new window

Err I read it wrong, thought you said "I have not seen anyone actually like it."
My bad, everyone makes mistakes.

The attribute panel is my main concern, I do like the icons though, makes for faster gathering of skills you know by heart.

If you dont like the other options then just use default.
The old skill window is still there, the only real thing that has changed is the attribute panel, that is of course if you leave it as default.

At the start of your first post you say you want the old one back and call this work waste of time, then at the end you ask them to spend more time to change it back to how it , make up your mind , either you want them to "waste"" more time to change it back or you don't.

I like the new one, the attribute panel just needs to get changed a bit, numbers put behind the words, or make the distance between them further apart, i find them to be too close.

Agreed, the way the attribute numbers are set up is just odd for me other than that I like the way I can look at the skills as full icons now.

They need to waste their time changing the attributes back, the rest I could care less about. The whole thing is still a waste if you ask me. There was nothing broke about the window, but they decided to fix it anyways.

I just don't understand how they could put something like this as priority over smaller changes that most people would like to see in the game.

So my suggestion, in general would be to fix the attributes section of the window so it does'nt look like a programming error.

I suppose the skill/attribute change that ANet in the last update could be a precursor step for a future expansion.

This way we all get used to the new window layout, the kinks get worked out and ANet will have room to add planned things at a later date. <player trade skills, player mount selection, lol, etc>

GW will never have mounts to let us travel and that's why we have MAP travel so there is no need for mounts.

Yes, because everyone at Anet was working on this simple skill window change...

Okay, before anyone complains about something and says "It's a waste of time. Anet should have been working on something different." can you please think about that argument? Anet is made of different teams, who implement different things in game. They don't all sit around one computer and program one change at a time.

Also, this change is very very basic. It wouldn't have taken the team long to change the positions of a couple of things and add an option to view the skill window in a certain way.

Personally, I don't mind the change. I like the way you can customize the skill window, and it doesn't bother me where the numbers are. They probably moved them closer to the text to add to the usability. You know, for people who have trouble reading things that are too far apart.
